FAQ
Please send us the INN/brand name, concentration, presentation, quantity, and destination country. We will check availability with our manufacturers and global network and respond with equivalent alternatives and a quote that meets regulatory and logistical requirements.
A generic medicine is a product that contains the same active ingredient (INN) as the reference medicine and is designed to offer the same quality, safety, and clinical efficacy when used as indicated. It is typically marketed under the INN name (or a brand name) and must comply with regulatory standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), as well as demonstrate equivalence (e.g., bioequivalence where applicable).
Commercial: at panamfarma.com, within the page of the product or molecule you are viewing, click on “RFQ / QUOTE” or “Request For Quote” and indicate the product, presentation, quantity and destination.
- Tax and contact information (company name, address, RFC/Tax ID and purchasing manager).
- Purchase Order (PO) or Letter of Intent (LOI) to confirm the intention to purchase.
- Importer details and/or health license, when required by the country’s regulations.
- Logistics requirements: delivery address, Incoterm (EXW or Door-to-Door) and logistics requirements (cold chain where applicable).
- Depending on the case, clinical or usage documentation (e.g., prescription) may be requested if required by the local authority.
For our part, we issue and deliver, as appropriate: Quotation / Proforma Invoice, Commercial Invoice, Packing List and Certificate of Analysis (CoA), in addition to any other document legally required for export and shipment.
“We handle international orders through a validated export process. We supply only to duly authorized pharmaceutical entities, perform all compliance checks and gather the required documentation (regulatory, customs and shipping), ship under controlled logistics in accordance with GDP/BPD (including the cold chain when necessary) and ensure the product with full traceability (CoA and batch documentation), in line with the applicable import requirements of the destination country.”
“Typical USA/India → Mexico/LatAm. We supply B2B to importers/distributors/licensees authorized for commercial import, and where the local framework allows. We operate with licensed logistics (including cold chain where applicable), using specialized warehouses or direct shipping to the customer according to Incoterm/country, always with regulatory, customs and quality compliance and release with full traceability (cold chain/batch documentation).”
In addition, we manage shipments of APIs and formulation materials under their applicable classification and controls.
If your order is delayed in customs, follow these steps:
- Share the key information immediately. Send us via email or WhatsApp: RFQ/Proforma number, your name, waybill (tracking/AWB), country/city, and the name of the importing entity.
- Identify the cause of the hold. Customs or the customs broker will usually indicate the reason (for example: document review, tariff classification, health permits/notifications, value discrepancies, labeling, cold chain, etc.). This information will help us determine the necessary documentation to be provided.
- Please coordinate with your customs broker/importer (if the shipment is being handled by the client). If the shipment is being handled by your importer/customs broker, they will be responsible for providing any missing documents or permits. We can reissue or supplement commercial and quality documentation when applicable (e.g., invoice, packing list, Certificate of Analysis, letter of clarification).
- If Door-to-Door (DDP) applies: when the shipment is contracted Door-to-Door, the logistics operator/3PL manages the release process and we will keep you informed of the status and specific requirements.
- Critical measures for sensitive products: if the product requires a cold chain, notify us immediately to activate the temperature control protocol (e.g., data logger review and contingency plan as appropriate).
Note: Final release depends on the health and customs authorities of the destination country, but with the above information we can expedite document processing and logistical coordination.
You can verify authenticity through document traceability and packaging/batch validation by following these steps:
- Check the purchase channel: make sure you have ordered the product directly from us (via panamfarma.com using RFQ / QUOTE or Request For Quote) or through the official channels indicated in the quote/invoice.
- Review the quality and batch documentation: request and verify the Certificate of Analysis (CoA) for the same lot number received. Confirm that the product name, concentration, pharmaceutical form, manufacturer, lot, and expiration date match between the CoA and the packaging.
- Physical inspection of the packaging: check packaging integrity: seals, evidence of opening, printing/labeling, and lot/expiration date consistency on primary and secondary cartons where applicable.
- Formal confirmation with us: please send us clear photos of the packaging, label, and batch/expiration date markings, along with your RFQ/Proforma/invoice number. We will confirm whether the data matches the registered dispatch and, where possible, validate the batch against the manufacturer’s documentation.
Important: if you detect any inconsistencies (batch does not match, altered packaging, irregular labels), do not use or dispense the product and contact us immediately to activate the verification and contingency protocol.
Detailed specifications are confirmed by product through our technical documentation. At panamfarma.com, locate the product and click on “RFQ / QUOTE” or “Request For Quote” to request the applicable technical data sheet (presentation, concentration, packaging, storage/cold chain conditions, shelf life, and available documentation such as a Certificate of Analysis). Alternatively, you can request it via email or WhatsApp, indicating the product name and presentation.
Request Information: if you cannot find the information you need online, you can send an information request to our customer service team via email [ info@panamfarma.com ] or using the contact form on our website.
Yes—provided the order is processed through our official channels (for example, on panamfarma.com via RFQ/QUOTE or Request For Quote). Historically, the industry used the term “Drug Pedigree” to describe product traceability; today we have adopted the current DSCSA/“T3” traceability terminology, while maintaining the same source control methods.
For products subject to FDA/DSCSA regulations, we can support authenticity using the T3 traceability package that accompanies transfers of ownership and facilitates verification. The T3 includes:
- Transaction Information (TI)
- Transaction History (TH)
- Transaction Statement (TS)
At a conceptual level, this traceability captures:
(i) product identification (e.g., name/concentration/pharmaceutical form; usually NDC/GTIN and lot where applicable),
(ii) transaction details (dates and “from/to” parties with name and address), and
(iii) a statement/attestation (TS) that the product was bought and sold by authorized partners and is legitimate.
Additionally, all shipments are released with quality and batch documentation (including Certificate of Analysis where applicable) and are handled under GDP/BPD controls (including cold chain when required).
If you require any further verification, please contact us with your RFQ/Proforma/invoice number, and we will verify the match against the recorded shipment.
1. Shipping
- Documentation: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Analysis (CoA) where applicable, and any export/import support documents required for the transaction.
- Delivery and transfer of risk: the transfer of risk/ownership is governed by the Incoterm agreed and specified in the quotation.
2. Dispensing (delivery to patient)
For specific medications that require patient-level dispensing, we can support delivery only when allowed by law:
- Verified prescription and treating physician’s information (when applicable)
- Patient identification and delivery details (where required by local regulations)
- Prepayment confirmation and compliance review
- Dispensing is managed through authorized channels and may require additional documentation depending on the destination country and product classification.
3. Information needed to confirm
- Whether it is institutional delivery or dispensing to a patient.
With this information we will be able to confirm the shipping method, times, costs, and dispensing requirements applicable to your case.
As a general rule, we can only supply a generic or biosimilar of a medicine that is still under patent if it is legally permitted and compliant in the destination country. Patent rights and regulatory exclusivity may vary depending on the active ingredient, formulation, and country of destination.
In general terms, supply may only be possible under one of the following conditions:
- There is no enforceable protection in the country of destination: the applicable patent/exclusivity has expired, is not in force locally, or does not cover the specific presentation that is intended to be supplied.
- There is a legally valid route to the destination: for example, a legally supported public or institutional procurement mechanism, or an exceptional import route / special access when permitted by local regulations.
- Authorized or licensed supply: the product is supplied under a license, agreement or other authorization from the rights holder, or through a duly authorized supply channel.
If the product remains protected and none of the above conditions apply, we cannot supply a generic or biosimilar for that market.
To assess feasibility, please confirm: destination country, product (INN/brand name), concentration, presentation, and whether the client is in the public, institutional, or private sector. With this information, we can advise you on what is feasible in terms of compliance and propose legal alternatives if necessary.
Thank you for your inquiry. Below are our standard payment methods:
- Bank transfer (wire transfer / SWIFT) to corporate account (preferred method for international transactions).
- Domestic transfer (depending on the country and applicable currency).
- In some cases, and subject to evaluation, we may consider installment payments for institutional orders (e.g., advance payment and balance before shipment).
Standard condition: 100% prepayment to confirm availability, reserve lot and schedule shipment.
Once you confirm the destination country, currency (USD/MXN/EUR/GBP) and customer type (institutional or private), we will share the proforma invoice with the bank details and the payment confirmation process.

Answer: Our specialty pharmaceutical products are produced in certified, state-of-the-art facilities located in various parts of the world, primarily: “The products are legally manufactured in the United States, Mexico, and India under GMP conditions, and are supported by a WHO-format Pharmaceutical Product Certificate issued by the national regulatory authority of the country of manufacture.”
Returns (Pharmaceutical Export): All sales are final; returns are accepted only with a prior authorized RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) due to:
- (i) Seller’s shipping error,
