Description
Arsenic Trioxide is an injectable antineoplastic agent used under specialist supervision for acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). It is indicated with tretinoin for newly diagnosed low-risk APL and for induction/consolidation in relapsed or refractory APL characterised by t(15;17) translocation or PML/RAR-alpha gene expression.
