Description
Megestrol acetate 160 mg tablets are oral synthetic progestin therapy used in specialist oncology settings for palliative management of advanced breast cancer and endometrial carcinoma. Megestrol is also used in selected formulations and clinical contexts as an appetite stimulant for anorexia/cachexia or significant weight loss, particularly in AIDS- or cancer-associated wasting.
