Description
Thioguanine is a cytotoxic purine analogue used mainly for remission induction and consolidation in acute non-lymphocytic leukemia/AML. It is not generally recommended for long-term maintenance because of hepatic toxicity risk and should be used only under hematology/oncology supervision.
