VINBLASTINE 10 mg Vial

Antimicrotubule Antineoplastic Agent – Vinca Alkaloid Class

ATC Code: L01CA01 | Prescription Only | Cytotoxic

Product Description:

Vinblastine is a vinca alkaloid antineoplastic agent derived from the periwinkle plant (Catharanthus roseus). It exerts its cytotoxic activity by inhibiting microtubule formation in the mitotic spindle, thereby arresting cell division in the metaphase of the cell cycle. As a cell cycle–specific agent (M phase), Vinblastine is a cornerstone in various multi-agent chemotherapy regimens for hematologic malignancies, solid tumors, and immune-modulated cancers. It is administered intravenously and requires careful handling due to its vesicant nature.
