Exemestane is an aromatase inhibitor used for hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women, including (i) adjuvant treatment after 2–3 years of tamoxifen to complete 5 years of endocrine therapy, and (ii) advanced breast cancer progressing after tamoxifen. Standard dose in labeling is 25 mg once daily after a meal
