Product Description:

Rituximab is a chimeric monoclonal antibody that specifically targets the CD20 antigen on B lymphocytes. It induces cell lysis via complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC), antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), and apoptosis. Widely used in the treatment of B-cell hematologic malignancies and autoimmune diseases, Rituximab is available as both originator and biosimilar products.

• Formulation: Concentrate for Solution for Intravenous Infusion
• Volume: 50 mL single-use vial
• Dilution: Required prior to infusion

Uses:

• Oncology: Treatment of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)
• Rheumatology: Moderate-to-severe rheumatoid arthritis (RA) with methotrexate
• Vasculitis: Treatment of granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA) and microscopic polyangiitis (MPA)
• Off-label: Investigated for lupus, ITP, MS, and other autoimmune disorders

Indications:

• Hematologic Malignancies:
  • CD20-positive non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (follicular and diffuse large B-cell)
  • CD20-positive chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), with chemotherapy
• Autoimmune Diseases:
  • Rheumatoid arthritis with inadequate response to TNF inhibitors
  • Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (Wegener’s) and microscopic polyangiitis
• Pediatric Use: Off-label for refractory autoimmune disorders under specialist guidance
